The Dominio di Bagnoli farm, with its 600 hectares of cultivated land and a 998 kWe biogas plant, open to visits by Farming Days participants, fueled by agricultural by-products, sewage and crop residues, represents a virtuous example of circular economy also at a national level, which will begin work on the conversion to biomethane thanks to investments from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). A plant that contributes to the reduction of emissions and the valorization of local resources, inserted in a production context that pays great attention to animal welfare &#8211; as demonstrated by the breeding of French Limousine and Charolaise breeds &#8211; and to the quality of the entire supply chain.<\/p><p>The day was enriched with an in-depth study on agricultural machinery for the management of digestate, the by-product of biogas production.
