PNRR notice for the third biomethane competitive procedure published

Today, the GSE published on its website the instructions for participating in the third competitive procedure for accessing the biomethane incentives provided for in the Ministerial Decree of 15 September 2022.

The most important novelty of this announcement is the adjustment of the biomethane incentives to the inflation trend recorded between November 2021 and December 2023. In particular, the incentive tariff and the capital contribution have been updated in order to adjust the interventions to the actual cost of raw materials.

A production capacity quota of approximately 131,893 Smc/h is allocated to the procedure, including the portion of production capacity that was not allocated in the second procedure and the portion freed up by the renunciations of the position submitted by 18 December 2023.

Applications may be submitted, exclusively by telematic means, from 12:00 noon on 22 December 2023 until 12:00 noon on 20 February 2024.
