CIB – Consorzio Italiano Biogas is the first voluntary aggregation that brings together agricultural companies producing biogas and biomethane from renewable sources; industrial companies supplying plants, technologies and services for the production of biogas and biomethane; and organizations and institutions that contribute to the promotion of anaerobic digestion for the agricultural sector.
CIB is active over the entire national area and represents the entire supply chain of biogas and biomethane production in agriculture, with the aim of providing information to Members to improve the management of the production process and guide the evolution of the regulatory framework to encourage the diffusion of the Biogasfattobene® model and achieve the 2050 targets on renewable energy and the fight against climate change.
CIB is among the founding members of EBA – European Biogas Association and is involved in numerous research projects both nationally and internationally
