CIB honoured at EBA Awards

The CIB is pleased to announce that, during the EBA Biomethane week, it was honoured at the EBA Awards in the category Green Horizon Narrator. The award is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves in biogas communication and storytelling. In particular, successful communication campaigns were considered.

The CIB distinguished itself by promoting the Biogasfattobene® model and the ‘Farming for Future’ project through a series of events, including webinars, field days and national conferences. These efforts addressed a wide audience, including the agricultural sector, industry, institutions and local communities. Biogas Italy 2024 reaffirmed its status as a key event for agricultural biogas in Italy, attracting significant participation and promoting institutional support for the sector. The Farming Days, hosted on member farms, offered networking opportunities and practical demonstrations of sustainable agricultural practices. The Consortium also launched the Farming For Future Foundation to unite stakeholders in promoting sustainable agriculture. Foreign delegations visited biogas plants to learn best practices and the Consortium maintained an active presence at conferences and research projects, spreading the principles of Biogasfattobene® and building partnerships with industries.
